1/18 Pony Cars from GMP:
1969 Porsche 917 LH / 001 from BBR
BBR announced today that they will produce a 1/18 scale Limited Edition resin model of Porsche 917/001 as it was unveiled at the Geneve Motor Show in early March 1969.
They will also produce the 4 Porsche 917s that contested the 24 Hours of Le Mans that year.
The models will be available with or without a handsome display case and are scheduled for a late 2018 release.

Earlier this spring, thanks to the efforts of Marshall Pruett and the IndyCar community, over $20,000 was raised for the Wilson Children’s Fund through the auction of autographed copies of Marshall’s photo of the start of the 2017 Indianapolis 500. Each copy bore 46 signatures, including all 33 starters from the 101st running and a selection of racing legends, including Rick Mears, AJ Foyt and Dan Gurney.
Before the auction began, it was discovered that one copy was missing a single, yet very important signature and was held out until the situation could be rectified.
Now that this missing signature has been added, we are offering one final opportunity to acquire an amazing piece of Indianapolis 500 history while helping to secure a promising future for the children of the late Justin Wilson.
Bidding begins today and will close at 12 Noon Central Time, Wednesday, June 27.

1/43 Team Lotus Transporter from Spark Model
Spark Model will produce a 1/43 scale resin model of the Bedford Transporter used by Team Lotus from 1963 thru 1967. It is one of more than 30 models announced by the company late last week.
The latest lists of Spark and Spark National releases also include several 2018 WRC and 2017 Nurburgring 24 Hour contenders and Daniel Ricciardo’s 2018 Monaco Grand Prix winning Red Bull RB14 in both 1/18 and 1/43 scale.
