Limited Edition 1/43 from Spark Model

Today we spotlight two lists of 1/43 Limited Edition National Series models (25 total) to finish a busy week of New Product Announcements from Spark Model.

The first list features 10 entries from the 2025 Macau GT Cup – FIA World Cup 2025.

The second list contains an assortment of 15 models added to Spark’s Belgian, French, Japan, UK and US National Series.

Perhaps the most significant items announced are a trio of Porsche 550 Spyders that finished 1-2-3 in the Sports 1500 Class to give Porsche their first Class Victory in the 12 Hours of Sebring 70 years ago this month. Wolfgang von Trips and Hans Herrmann drove the winning #41 Porsche to 6th overall and the Class win, followed by the #43 Jack McAfee / Pete Lovely car that finished 7th and the Marshall / Brundage / von Hanstein #66 in 14th.

Pre-order all three of these special Porsche models for a 10% discount. We will confirm the discount upon receipt of your order.

The 6-Wheel Tyrrell P34: 50 Years On!

1/18 & 1/43 scale models from Spark

To commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the unique 6-wheeled Tyrrell P34 Grand Prix car, Spark Model has announced plans to produce a series of 1/18 and 1/43 scale models tracing the evolution of the P34 from it’s Presentation in 1975 thru it’s maiden F1 season.

The 1/18 and 1/43 range from Spark Model will highlight the P34’s best finishes from the 1976 Formula One World Championship, including the fantastic 1-2 finish by Jody Sheckter and Patrick Depailler in the Swedish GP.

Spark Model Announcements

Additional Announcements from Spark Model have been slowly trickling out all week. A set of 1/18 Road Cars and 1/43 scale Le Mans racers have been posted to our New Model Announcements section.

The Road Car list contains 5 offerings; 2 Lamborghinis, 2 Porsches and a beautiful Maserati Bora. The Le Mans list contains 4 Porsche GT cars that competed in the 1990s, 4 sports cars (3 Jags and a Maserati 300S) from the 1950s and a Cougar C22 prototype from 1989 .

New Product Announcements

1/18 & 1/43 BBR Competition – 1/18 TopSpeed – 1/43 TSM Model

There will be 4 different Ferrari 296 GT3 cars produced in both 1/18 and 1/43 scale in the BBR Competition line including the 2025 IMSA Laguna Seca livery of DragonSpeed , two Arise Racing versions from the 2025 Bathurst 12 Hour and a Presentation version of the new Ferrari 296 GT3 EVO.

1/18 #1 Al Unser Vel’s Parnelli Jones Dirt Champ

1/18 scale diecast from Acme Trading Co.

Al Unser and Mario Andretti scored back to back USAC Dirt Car Championships in 1973 & 1974 for Vel’s Parnelli Jones Racing.

Vel’s Parnelli Jones racing was founded in 1969 by Parnelli Jones and Velko ‘Vel’ Miletich. The team quickly became a powerhouse in USAC competition and came to be known as the ‘Superteam’ with legends Al Unser, Mario Andretti and Joe Leonard behind the wheel.

VPJ and Al Unser would win the 1970 and 1971 Indianapolis 500s with the team winning the USAC National Championships 3 years in a row with Al Unser (1970) and Joe Leonard (1971 & 1972). 

In 1974-76 the team briefly competed in Formula 1 with Mario Andretti behind the wheel of the VPJ4 and VPJ4A Parnelli Grand Prix car.
