Ferrari 312 B2s from LookSmart and Tecnomodel

A selection of Ferrari 312 B2 models have just been announced in 1/18 scale (Tecnomodel, above) and 1/43 scale  (LookSmart, right).

LookSmart has also announced that they will produce the current Ferrari SF90 Formula 1 cars of Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc in both 1/18 and 1/43 scale.

An October 30 advance order deadline has been set for the LookSmart Ferraris.

As always, the sooner you reserve a 1/18 Tecnomodel, the better. Lately, they have been producing larger Limited Editions than originally announced to satisfy the demand (as does BBR) but demand in the US usually overwhelms supply, especially with these classic racing cars.

Go to the 2019 Advance Order section of MotorsportCollector.com for all of the above or click on the links above for the individual lists.

Tecnomodel News:

Arriving this week: Tecnomodel’s 1/18 scale Ferrari 312B3. We have just one each remaining of the #12 Niki Lauda version (above) and the Clay Regazzoni Test Car (below).

$280.00 each plus shipping.

Reserve Now:  We are now accepting advance orders for four future Tecnomodel releases. Scroll down for information:

1/43 Parnelli VPJ4 Grand Prix cars from Spark Model?

It looks like Spark Model is about to announce production of three 1/43 versions of the short lived Vel’s Parnelli Jones VPJ4 Formula One car as driven by Mario Andretti from late 1974 until early 1976.

Several versions of the Parnelli VPJ4 appeared in the 2014 Spark Catalog but were never released:

The #55 Viceroy liveried car (seen above) marked the VPJ4’s F1 debut at the 1974 Canadian Grand Prix at Mosport.

Andretti’s highest finish with the VPJ4 was a 4th in the 1975 Swedish Grand Prix at the wheel of the non-Viceroy liveried #27 seen below.

The #27 VPJ4 sported a blue and white American Racing Wheels livery for its  final GP appearance at Long Beach in 1976.

Release dates unavailable at this time. We are accepting advance orders on all three models HERE.
