Back from Indy

Back from an eventful long weekend at Indy. Saw a lot of friends at the annual Memorabilia Show and at the Speedway.

Lots of great comments on our display of 1/18 models by Tecnomodel at the Show.

Race day, we waited until 2pm to leave our hotel, drove right in and got to our seats in time for the driver introductions. Newgarden made his last lap pass right in front of us in Turn 3. Felt for Pato. He’ll drink the milk some day. Got back to our car around 9pm. Took about 2 hours to get back to the hotel. The huge crowd and darkness made traffic a bit more difficult than usual. The ‘second front’ arrived around 10:30 with hail, lightning and heavy rain.

Cudos to Doug Boles. The people he consulted nailed the timing of the two storms and saved the day.

Still getting unpacked from the Show. Also dealing with two separate shipments from Spark Model and preparing for a shipment of Tecnomodel, TopSpeed and TSM due to land later this week.

We’ll update you when (if?) things return to normal.
