RAC ‘2025 Book of the Year’ Awards!

The Royal Automobile Club has awarded Karl Ludvigsen’s Power Unleashed: Trailblazers who Energised Engines with Supercharging and Turbocharging as the overall Motoring Book of the Year. for 2025.

In the Motorsport catagories, the winners were My Travels On Racer Road: Can-Am and Formula 1 in their Golden Age by Pete Lyons in the ‘no price limit’ class and Art Garner’s A.J. Foyt – Vol. 1: Survivor, Champion, Legend in the under £50 class.

1/43 scale 2025 Formula 1 by Spark Model

Spark Model has just released a list of 12 Formula One cars from the 2025 season that they intend to produce in 1/43 scale. They include 5 Grand Prix winners (2 by Max and 1 each from Oscar, Lando and George) along with several other notable finishes by others. Seven of the 12 include Pit Boards.

Milestone victories include the 200th Grand Prix victory for McLaren by Lando Norris in Hungary and the 50th Grand Prix win for Oracle by Max Verstappen at Monza.

The cut-off date for guaranteed orders is Thursday, November 13.

The latest list of 1/43 scale Classic F1 offerings has just been posted to our New Model Announcements page.. Highlights include Mario Andretti’s Gold Leaf Team Lotus 48B from the 1968 US Grand Prix at Watkins Glen and Richie Ginther’s 1965 Mexican Grand Prix winning Honda RA272.
