The global supply chain issues have pretty much strangled model deliveries this year, especially since early fall. Today we received confirmation of an early January shipment of Spark, TSM, TopSpeed, Tecnomodel and LookSmart that has been delayed on the high seas for months. We’ll be processing orders after the Christmas / New Years break, For a list of remaining items from that shipment, go to our Early January 2022 Arrival list on the main menu.
Regardless if you were cheering for Lewis or for Max, I think we can all agree that we’ll be talking about the 2021 Formula One World Championship for years to come.
Spark Model has announced a range of 1/18 and 1/43 scale models to commemorate the major players from the final, title deciding races along with a 1/5 scale Lewis Hamilton ‘Rainbow’ helmet. In 1/43 scale, Spark will produce a Lewis Hamilton Brazil GP Mercedes – complete with Brazilian flag, a Mercedes 2021 Constructor Champion 2-car set, a Fernando Alonso Qatar Podium Alpine, both McLarens in their 2021 Abu Dhabi livery, both Kimi and Giovinazzi Alfas from their final race for the team, and several others.
Special World Champion Editions of Max Verstappen’s Red Bull RB16B will be produced in both 1/18 and 1/43 scale. Spark will also produce the Abu Dhabi Raikkonen Alfa and Lando Norris McLaren in 1/18 scale.
Despite high demand, there are no plans to produce a Michael Masi Voodoo Doll.
Also this week, Spark announced their latest 1/43 National Series subjects and Top Speed revealed their plans for several forthcoming 1/18 scale IMSA and sports car releases.
