The signing is complete!

Marshall Pruett: “Awesome news: It took five months to complete, but we now have the signatures of all 33 starters from the 2017 Indy 500, plus a whole heap of legends and heroes. The Field of 33 charity prints benefitting the Wilson Children’s Fund now head to The Motorsport Collector for auction.”

Marshall tracked down Sebastian Saavedra at the ‘Roar Before the 24’ at Daytona last weekend. Saavedra was the last of the 33 starters in the 2017 Indianapolis 500 to add his signature to the third set of prints for this year’s Wilson Children’s Fund auction. They will go up for bids soon.

The challenge among pilots, cars, technologies and mindsets on the two sides of the Atlantic ocean began in 1905 and for 50 years had plenty of interesting events: the Europeans went in America to win (and did it two times) and the Americans came to France and Italy (winning only once).
