McLaren M20 Update

Due to the extremely high demand for their 1/18 scale Denis Hulme McLaren M20 in 1972 Watkins Glen Can Am livery, Tecnomodel has tentatively agreed to produce a second version of the car  to commemorate Team McLaren’s final Can Am Pole Position at the 1972 Road America Can Am.

Details to follow. You can reserve the Road America car HERE.

Response to last week’s Email Updates featuring 1/18 scale McLaren M20 and McLaren M6 Can Am cars from Tecnomodel was off the charts. If you have not placed an order as yet, we strongly suggest that you do so asap.

With the rather small Limited Editions that Tecnomodels is producing, we expect most, if not all, to be pre-sold out very soon.

The Hulme M20 is ‘wait listed’ at this time.

An important chapter in the Ford GT story.

1/18 scale 1968 Shelby GT350H from Acme Trading

Even more 1/18 scale Pony Car announcements from Acme Trading Co!

They will produce 1/18 scale Limited Edition (350 each) runs of the 1968 Shelby GT350H ‘Rent A Racer’ in two colors, Dark Poly Green and Raven Black.

Details below:
“For 1968, Shelby rekindled his relationship with Hertz Rent-a-Car to resurrect their “Rent-a-Racer” program with Shelby Mustangs as part of Hertz’s Sports Car Club fleet. However, Hertz had wised up a bit since it ordered 999 cars in 1966, cutting 20 cities out of the program and scaling back marketing. As such, only 224 cars are known to be delivered according to the Shelby Registry, and this time they ordered them in an array of colors. The colors included Dark Green (Highland Green), Raven Black, Medium Blue, Lime Green, Wimbledon White, Candy Apple Red, Gold and Red”.
These rather small production runs will sell out quickly. Reserve HERE.
We’re also running a sale (15% off) on our remaining stock of 1/43 scale 2017 Formula 1 models from Spark and Minichamps. Click HERE for the list. Limited quantities.
And, last but not least, with today’s birth of our 2nd Grandson (in a little over 2 months), we’re able to set our Saturday hours for the month of July.
Have a great weekend!
