Coming Next Week:

The latest shipment from Spark, TSM Model and LookSmart is due to arrive in a few days. Check out the list of remaining available models HERE.

1/43 Spark Model: 2019 Le Mans Collection / Replicarz Cheetah!

We’ve uploaded Spark Model’s 1/43 scale program for Le Mans 2019. The company has announced plans to produce 49 of this year’s entries, covering all but Ferrari and BMW.
You can scan the selections by class at MotorsportCollector.com:
LMP 1        LMP 2      GTE Pro      GTE Am
Since Spark did not provide useful photos, we recommend that you download, if you haven’t already, Andy Blackmore’s excellent Weathertech 2019 Le Mans Spotter Guide to assist in making your selections.
We expect LookSmart to again do Ferrari. Will advise on the BMWs.
Most will not appear until late 2019 or early 2020 but Spark’s deadline for advance orders from their dealers is July 22. We will stock a few extras of the most popular entries but suggest you reserve your favorites by that date.
Replicarz has finally released their first 1/18 scale Cheetah! We expect delivery this week.
Details below.
We still have one or two 1/18 Pink Pigs available from this week’s 1/18 scale shipment from Spark Model. You can check out all recent arrivals HERE.

1/18 MINICHAMPS – 2016 Le Mans Ford GT’s

As we were closing down for the Independence Day holiday, a shipment arrived from MINICHAMPS containing 1/18 scale die cast models of all four 2016 Le Mans Ford GTs and a stunning, all black Test Car.

All advance orders have shipped. A few pieces remain.

Check out our remaining stocck HERE.

The shipment also contained a pair of 1/18 scale Formula One die casts: Lewis Hamilton’s 2017 World Championship winning Mercedes and the Benetton Ford B192 in which Michael Schumacher scored his first Grand Prix victory. Limited quantities available.

We’re Back ! And we need to clear some space!

With all the 1/18 scale shipments that arrived as we were preparing to leave for a short Summer Holiday, we need to clear out some stock before the fire department comes in and shuts us down!

So, we’re offering more than a dozen new-in-box 1/18 scale Spark and TSM sports car models at 25% off the regular price. Only one or two pieces available of each item. Check out the list HERE.

Lauda’s First Grand Prix Winner from Tecnomodel!

We may be on vacation, but we’re still on the lookout for good stuff!

More important announcements from Tecnomodel on this Austrian GP weekend: The company will produce a 1/18 scale resin replica of  the Ferrari 312 B3 driven by Niki Lauda to his first Grand Prix victory in the 1974 Spanish GP. A Regazzoni 1974 German GP winner has also been announced along with several other Ferrari GP cars.

We will post information on the entire range soon but you can reserve your Lauda car HERE.

Gallery Closed Next Week

As we wrap up the first half of 2019, we’re pleased that deliveries from the model companies seem to be picking up speed (fear of tariffs?), bringing us an exciting collection of new ‘stuff’ to promote so far this year. But, because of the sheer velocity of the arrival of those great new products (and our advancing years) we find ourselves in dire need of a few days off to recharge.
Plus, there’s my Grandson’s first birthday and a family gathering this weekend.
In any case, we have decided to take a short hiatus over the Fourth of July. The Gallery will be closed from this Saturday, June 29 until Monday, July 8 but I will be checking and responding to orders and other email on a regular basis during that period.
It’s been a busy week for new arrivals and we are working hard to get everything out the door before the weekend. The Minichamps Ford GTs will be here Friday. We’ve also taken a delivery of a fresh shipment of display cases, including our own Custom Acrylic Cover for the TopSpeed Ford GT 2016 LM GTE Pro Winner (below).
Also, we thought we’d show you BBR’s 1/43 scale 2019 Canadian Grand Prix Winner Diorama. You can insert the car of your choice at a later date, but I think it makes a great statement all by itself.
Have a safe Independence Day Week. Come back in one piece!
