by Colin Carter. After two seasons with the Cooper team and one season with Brabham, Jochen Rindt joined Lotus in 1969 alongside World Champion Graham Hill.

In 1970 Rindt won the Monaco G.P. in an aging Lotus 49 then scored four consecutive victories at the Dutch, French, British and German Grand Prix in Colin Chapman's revolutionary Lotus 72.

His fatal crash in the Lotus 72 during qualifying for the Italian G.P. at Monza resulted in Rindt becoming the only posthumous world champion, clinched after Emerson Fittipaldi's victory at the US Grand Prix at Watkins Glen a few weeks later.

Limited to only 500 copies for sale worldwide. each copy personally signed, sealed and numbered by the artist.
