One of the very first AAR 1970 Trans Am 'Cudas assembled by Dan Gurney's All American Racers. The #48 Trans Am 'Cuda was the pilot car that the AAR team Drivers, Dan Gurney and Swede Savage would use for testing and in many of its media events.

Gurney would use this car in the final round of the 1970 SCCA Trans-Am Championship at Riverside Raceway, the weekend he announced his retirement as a driver.
