A Limited Edition of 500 Signed and Numbered Prints

A new era in North American sports car racing began on September 3, 1967 when Team McLaren launched their five year domination of the Canadian American Challenge Cup series at the inaugural Road America Can Am. Team leader Bruce McLaren shattered the Elkhart Lake lap record by ten seconds to start on pole position with teammate Denis Hulme joining him on the front row. On race day, McLaren dropped out with an oil leak but Denny Hulme scored the first of his record 22 career Can Am victories, set fastest race lap and beat runner up Mark Donohue's Penske Lola T70 to the finish line by more than 90 seconds in a stunning debut for the McLaren M6A-Chevrolet and Team McLaren's trademark orange paint scheme.

Bruce McLaren went on to win the 1967 Can Am Championship, the first of five consecutive championships for Team McLaren drivers.
