Jim Clark and Team Lotus scored a famous victory in the Indianapolis 500 on 31st May 1965. The British team came and dominated the race at the fabled 'brickyard', Jimmy driving the Lotus-Ford type 38. He set numerous records during the race with a winning speed of 150.686mph, recording the first win for a rear-engined car in the Indy 500 and the first victory for a Ford engine.

The painting shows Jimmy's winning Lotus (chassis 38/1) leading AJ Foyt in the early laps, through turn two.

The overall print size is 60 x 44cm, the image size approximately 49 x 34cm.

The title caption as described above, with Classic Team Lotus and Henry Ford Museum logos are printed on the white border.
